I will continue to pursue greater happiness for Ibadan Indigenes, CCII President General, Ajewole declares

The President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes CCII Chief Barr Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole has reiterated his commitment to pursuing all that would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to Ibadan Indigenes at all times. 

Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole gave this declaration when management team of the Federal Fire Service in Ibadan paid him a visit in his office at Ibadan House.

The President General of CCII who personally received the team, expressed the respect he has for men and women in highly risky jobs like fire service and prayed that God would continue to protect them.

He submitted that his commitment to pursuing greater happiness for Ibadan Indigenes remained unshaken and as such "we would do everything possible to assist you to ensure that your job of protecting lives and property comes easy".

Addressing some of the requests made by the service, the President General assured the team the council would table their matter before eminent Ibadan Indigenes who would come to their aid.

"We promised to serve Ibadanland, we have kept to that promise and I assure my people that we would not rest on our oars in pursuing greater happiness for our people", Ajewole added.

The team led by the State Comptroller, Engr. Moses Oyedepo appreciated the CCII leadership for the warm reception and promised to serve Ibadanland and the State in general wholeheartedly.

Also on the Federal Fire Service team were Deputy Comptroller, Engr.Oke Ayodeji, Chief Superintendent of Fire Ogundiya Abolade and Adeniran Adenike.
